Mission: Not Impossible
Putting up this site comes with great responsibility-a mission. More
information, better decisions is our motto. More information on the senatorial
candidates means better decisions when voting. And not only on the candidates,
but information about the Senate and the process of voting as well.
In this site, we present biographical data on the candidates. This way,
you will know what this candidate has actually done in the past. These
people aren't just familiar faces, but individuals who have done things
that make them fit for a seat in the Senate. It's just up to you to choose
which ones you think are the best from the lot.
Also, we put up basic info about the Senate. What does the Senate do?
That question is answered in this site (see The Senate). By knowing what
the Senate is all about, you then get an idea of what kind of people should
be up there. It's not just eeny-meeny-miynee-mo, honey. Not everyone can
be a senator.
And how about voting? How do we vote? How do we choose? Why should we
vote? You might ask. Look no further. It's all here.
But of course, you can't just rely on everything that's up on this site.
It's also healthy to know what other people think. That's what our forums
are for-a venue for political discussion. Other people's opinions really
do affect our decisions, and knowing what other people think is valuable.
So, our mission is to educate you about the upcoming elections. We are
here to make sure that you don't enter that voting booth not knowing the
people behind the names you'll be listing down. We are here to give you
the information you need to make sure that you don't waste your vote on
some power-hungry candidate out there running for his/her own benefit.
