About Us

Hi! We are Joanne and Georgia, students of De La Salle University who are driven to educate you along with our selves about the upcoming senatorial elections. Yes, we are your ordinary college students majoring in Communication Arts-Journalism, and this is actually our thesis: a website that features the senatorial candidates.
How did we come up with this site? Well, we noticed that there really isn't anything on the Net that gives information on the candidates in just one site. None. So, knowing that, we decided that somebody had to do something about it.
But why should we even bother to put up this site anyway? Simple answer, my dears. You might think it's just so that we could graduate, but really, it's so much more than that. We, too, are going to be voting for the first time on May 14, and we, too, didn't know squat about them candidates. I mean, who are these people anyway? And then, we realized that probably millions of other young Filipinos are going through what we're going through. Millions of others are going to list names of candidates they don't know anything about on election day. What a disaster!
Good thing there's a site called Senate 2001 on the Net, no?
